Beacon Place is Celebrating 5 Years of Serving the Waukegan Community

Since we began 5 years ago, Beacon Place has delivered programs that have helped families become healthier, kids perform better in school, adults connect and learn new things, and individuals set their sites on a new future.

We can’t stop now. Join us on May 3rd at the Lake Forest Club, 554 N. Westmoreland Rd, Lake Forest, as we celebrate 5 Years of Building Brighter Tomorrows. Only 5% of the kids in our community meet state standards, but they really want to do better in school and are willing to work hard to improve. Beacon Place provides afterschool homework help and year round tutoring in math, reading, science, and computer coding to kids kindergarten through high school.
