As I reflect on all that has taken place in 2015, I am so thrilled to see of all of the progress that Beacon Place has made with the help and support of the community. We moved into 603 S. McAlister in May, changing a house that was in great need of repair into a home for all who walk through the doors. I have seen volunteers and families work side by side, listening to each other’s ideas and creating true friendship. I have seen families who did not know each other develop deep friendships. The children continue to come for homework help, tutoring, and to have a meal. The Moms continue to grow in empowerment and support of each other. Our house of dreams as it was named by our families is open and    ready to make those dreams come to life.
