Tweens and Teens Program

Tweens and Teens Program

Growing up can be hard. Making the right decisions in a world filled with too many opportunities for bad choices, means tweens and teens need a peer group to help them navigate a tricky world. The Beacon Place Tweens and Teens Program for kids ages 12-15 gives our kids exactly that – a group to connect with on the tough issues that they face. The Tweens and Teens Program focuses on building self-esteem, overall health, leadership, responsibility and community.  The program meets once to twice a week during the summer and once a month during the school year. Activities include cooking classes, field trips to museums and events, special guest speakers, games and activities to promote social learning, and exploratory activities such as kayaking, camping, and swimming.
